Well, the lake is open. Saw it with my own eyes...at least the west side of it.

Dont forget, theres often some pretty high water levels around the end of April when the lakes north of Rice thaw and the locks open. As of Saturday, there was still a lot of ice on Stoney, not to mention others farther up.
